Providing Virtual Therapy in Connecticut

A grounded and genuine therapeutic space to slow down, make sense of what’s going on inside, and feel more like yourself again.

Therapy for people feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck — especially during seasons of transition and self-doubt.

Reach Out

I work with people who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns they understand but can’t seem to shift. On the outside, things may look mostly okay — but inside, it can feel loud, tense, or exhausting to keep up.

You might find yourself overthinking, holding a lot together, or being the one others rely on. Maybe you’ve tried therapy or done personal work before, yet it hasn’t quite landed where it matters most — in the moments that feel hardest, or in how you respond when stress takes over.

That’s where this work begins.

You might be here if…

  • You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally overloaded

  • You’re navigating transitions, pressure, or uncertainty in work, relationships, or identity

  • You find yourself overthinking, people-pleasing, or being hard on yourself

  • You feel stuck in patterns you understand but can’t seem to change

  • You want therapy that feels grounded, supportive, and real — not stiff or performative

About Me

Hello!

I’m Joyce, and I love this work because I know how powerful it is to feel truly met — especially when you’ve spent a long time holding things together on your own.

I was drawn to becoming a therapist through my own experience of growing up with a brain that didn’t always fit the mold, and learning to navigate the world through curiosity, creativity, and a deep desire to understand myself. I became the reliable one early on — the person others could count on — while quietly carrying my own anxiety, overwhelm, and self-doubt beneath the surface.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, where I saw how deeply our emotional worlds shape how we learn, relate, and feel safe. That experience continues to inform how I show up in this work: with warmth, humor, and respect for how tender it can feel to slow down and be honest about what’s hard.

Therapy with me is grounded, collaborative, and real.

You don’t need to perform or have the right words — we move at a supportive pace, focusing on easing overwhelm and helping you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

I work virtually in Connecticut with people 18 and older.

My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can exhale, feel understood, and begin to trust yourself more fully.

What Therapy With Me is Like

  • Grounded and collaborative — we move at a pace that feels supportive, not rushed

  • Curious and exploratory — we notice patterns together and look at things from new perspectives

  • Creative when helpful — sometimes that means reflection, small experiments, or trying something different to see what shifts

  • Focused on real-life change — easing anxiety and overwhelm, building safety, and strengthening self-trust

  • Human and authentic — you don’t have to perform, have the right words, or have it all figured out

  • My approach integrates trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, expressive and creative work, and parts-based perspectives, used thoughtfully and at a pace that feels right for you.

How We Begin

Schedule an free 15 minute consultation

We start with a brief consultation where you can share what’s bringing you here, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work — no pressure, just a conversation

We’ll talk openly about what you’re looking for, timing, logistics, and cost, and I’ll be honest about whether I feel I can support your needs in a way that feels helpful and ethical.

Decide together if we’re a good fit

If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we’ll schedule a first session and take the next step at a pace that feels right for you.
